Live CD released!
For Christmas this year I decided to make my parents a CD full of music that I used to play for them on the piano, or that has some importance to my family when I was growing up. I recorded the tunes into my Mac with Garage Band software using an M-Audio USB keyboard, a Roland V-Club drum kit and a Celebrity Ovation guitar.
I’ve tried to give credit where credit is due. If I’ve done so incorrectly, or if I’m going to jail for recording my own versions of these songs and posting them here, please tell me so that I can hide before the cops come.
- Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho (1mb) - American Traditional Spiritual
- Go Tiger Go (1.5mb) - David Carr Glover
- The Entertainer (1mb) - Scott Joplin
- One Tin Soldier (4.3mb) - Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter
- Bill Grogan’s Goat (1.8mb) - Unknown
- Someone’s in the Kitchen with Dinah (1.2mb) - Unknown
- Lullabye (3.8mb) - Billy Joel
- I Think You’re Worth It (3.1mb) - The Divers
- River of Dreams (3.2mb) - Billy Joel
- If I Had $1,000,000 (encore!) (7.3mb) - Barenaked Ladies
With that, I think I’m going to take a small “blogcation” (a vacation from blogging) this week to gear up for the big holiday weekend.
Have a great holiday and fantastic New Year’s and we’ll talk to you soon!
